Strolling though a local swap, and damned if this didnt just right off the bench into my hand. I almost couldn't believe it, it doesn't seem as though my part of the world is hot bed for vintage stuff. So i snapped this up as soon as i saw it. What is the era on one of these guys? Its in decent shape haven't even cleaned it up yet, just steel wool call it good? How rare are these little guys? Functions just fine!

I've been watching for those forever...especially at that price! Think they're from the 60's era, and fairly limited production. Good find!!

I wouldn't steel wool chrome. It will damage the chome. Even 0000.
You could try a chrome polish and bronze wool. Or better yet, chrome polish and a magic eraser.
