Craftsman spring scissors/sheep shears - leave 'em or clean 'em

I just found this sheep shear (or spring scissors).
I was never that interested in these, but this one has a Craftsman label! Never have seen that before.
It's kinda cruddy, and I like cleaning old stuff to make it look more presentable, but I doubt I can do much to this one without damaging the label.
Any thoughts?

Maybe if you shine them up and lose the old label you could get a replacement label like these ones on eBay from 'Stickerz':
