Craftsman Stress Lab wrench?

I just got a few wrenches the other day and noticed this etched in the end "stress lab" anyone ever seen this? This is on a 5/8 inch combination wrench.

Etched tools in a manufacturing plant are common. In manufacturing, tools provided by the company are common. I assume they are also provided in education and research also.

I work at an energy plant at a univ. and we have TONS of Wright/Proto and I haven't seen any etching... but that's probably just because we have 2 entire buildings just for our department... So I would think this would have to be in a dept. that is inside of a shared building.

In the 2002-2003 Sears Industrial/Fastenal catalogs I have, they had an engraving service. If the tools were ordered that way, they may have come with the name on them from the plant.
