Your building is a true inspiration. I've been planning mine and have loved the vinyl board&batten siding look, where did u source yours from if you don't mind me asking?

Prroducts all come from "special order" at Menards. If you are truly interested, I can go ck out the product names and colors, etc. Let me know.

Bought everything when "On sale" at Menards. Are you near Menards? Familiar with it? They help with all the design work and do a complete project material list with costs. I gave them my hand-drawn plans, and we went from there. I'm not a builder, I'm an elementary classroom teacher (retired). They also designed my trusses and had them built at Menard's Midwest Mfg center in OH. Then shipped here and dropped on the wk site. Materials were also assembled and dropped at the wk site. If the order is over $2,000, all of these services are no charge.

Well, I'm in Maryland and we don't have any Menards but I have been pricing the board and batten siding on Menards web site. They state that they don't drop ship this siding but I was going to give them a call. Which line of siding did u use, Timbercrest?
Thank u for replying so soon and Merry Christmas!

As do you!!! Nice looking barn you have as well. Quite a bit larger for sure. Wish I had your high center door.

What color/product is the shake siding? Is that NoviShake?

Again, it looks terrific!

Wow... somebody's a perfectionist!!!

I thought I was looking at a siding catalog at first. Like a previous poster said, that has to be the prettiest trench that's ever been dug. Felt like I had to take my shoes off and wash my hands just to look at this thread.

I'm eager (and a bit afraid) to see the inside when it's done.

Great looking garage!

Yea yea, I know. A bit neat and tidy, but the end product gives me a lawn that looks like it was never disturbed. Appreciate the comments. Not sure how the innards will shake out yet.

Board and batton siding is a product of Menards... Timbercrest / Sandstone. Pretty easy to install.

How about the Shake siding that is above the board and batten; do recall the product and color of that? If its from Menards also it might be NoviShake?

I would love to see some updates as well! Great build.

Also if you recall, what was the brand and colour of the stone veneer? I like it, might use for a future fireplace project.
