I picked this new swivel tip screwdriver up at Sears yesterday.

I have not used it yet, but it seems like it could be handy. It has a ball type universal joint built in. The thing I really like about it is the locking collar can be adjusted to limit the movement of the universal joint. The adjustment allows you to have the joint be only as floppy as needed for the task at hand.

*Assembled in USA of imported and domestic components.

I have one of those that came in a black case; it has bits and sockets with it as wel.... I like the tool but I wish the swivel radius would go a full 180 degrees for those tight areas you need to get into. It is a good tool... it can be usefull for auto dash work when acessing parts of the dash, right next to the windshield. :)

180 degrees would be handy for those times where someone may want to "screw themself":)

seems like a neat idea. The 4th reviewer makes a good point about holding the screw to the bit.

I kick myself for not getting one of these during the $5 off coupon incident. I want one but I just can't justify paying full price right now.

Thats when I got mine, its actually a rebadged Pratt Reed or something like that.

Black and Decker and Dewalt both make a pivot bit holder as well.

Yes sir, it is Pratt Reed. They sell the exact same thing at Northern. I think it costs more there IIRC.
