Picket up an assortment of old sockets last week. They seem to have an early craftsman logo and I believe a "BE" after the name. From what I can gather they look to be from the 30's - 40's? Probably produced by the New Britain Machine Company. Any added info would be appreciated.

Will clean up the whole lot and post up some more pictures when I can. The sockets and a bunch of other tools were scavenged from a leftover estate sale and heading for the scrapper if I didn't grab them. Long story on the sale...but talking to the "heir" of the home, I missed a good one. :willy_nil

I haven't had a chance to clean the stuff yet and take any decent pictures. But here's a couple. There are a few 3/8 and 1/4 in drive sockets(3 swivels) which have the same Craftsman logo. There a some hex drive sockets and 1 hex handle(Indestro). which I think are from the same time frame.
