I have a Craftsman table saw model # 103-200002 on a pedestal mount. Do they make a pedestal mount for my other saw which is a model 113-29920? It obviously would require one with a different top mount. I am trying to get all my Craftsman tools on pedestal mounts. I have in my collection a bandsaw, drill press and bench grinder besides the one table saw outfitted on pedestals.

idk the answer but I like the pedestal- I have an older cman table saw (don't know the number- its prior to the gold ones I am pretty sure) Hows the pedestal saw in terms of tippyness? It looks like a large sheet of plywood/osb/sheeting would maybe tip it- but it looks really cool-

I just got the pedestal table saw a few days ago, so have not tried it. I am curious also as to the stability on a pedestal.

Good afternoon Jay-

Thanks for the quick response. Your collection is amazing.

The information you attached is perfect. Now the question. How do you ID a pedestal in the wild and figure out which catalog # they are? Is the catalog # cast or stamped into them?

Thanks, Jim

Jim,

Here is list of the information I created a few years ago at the request of FrankLee.

Here is a link to that discussion, but it appears most of the pictures no longer display.

The catalog number relates to the 1956 Craftsman catalog, but I believe at least a portion of the catalog number was consistent from year to year.

The last line of data would be for your table saw.
Jay

I have a pedestal base on a saw of a similar, but not identical vintage. Mine is a 113.29992, which I think pre-dates yours by a few years. Here's a link to a thread on OWWM from my restoration. There are several shots of the pedestal base from different angles that might help you identify them as you're hunting. https://owwm.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=215389

Good evening The pics of your pedestal look like it might be the same. The casting #s on the base and the top bracket would confirm it. I have determined I need a base casting # 38212-103 and top bracket casting # 35214-103. Thanks for sharing.
