So, I have my Blue-Point ratchets and breaker bars at work. But I hate the handles. I HATE round handles on my tools, I much, MUCH prefer the rectangular handles of my Craftsman ratchets and I find myself using those while my Blue Point ratchets sit and just look shiny and pretty.

Are there any other tool companies that produce ratchets with the same style of handle as Craftsman? I have no qualms with Craftsman however most people I know don't like to rely on Craftsman for work (I am an auto tech), instead opting for the tool truck brands. I am seriously considering going in and buying a set of Craftsman breaker bars to match my ratchets, too - I love the handles, it's weird.

How about putting a snap on hard handle, or any handle that you like for that matter, on the blue point ratchets?

Nothing wrong with using Cman ratchets in a pro setting other than dealing with comments from snobs. The Asian made ones are better than the American made ones they replaced, yea it had gotten that bad. You can always buy some old school -V- ones off ebay with metal selectors. Easco or RHFT (round head fine tooth) is another alternative for the same handle with higher tooth counts to boot. RHFT aren't in production anymore and fetch a premium on ebay but you'll still end up paying far less than you would for something like a trio of snap-on ratchets and the RHFTs will hold their value.

+1 or any of the hard-handled snap on ratchets have more of a square profile. Or if you like the CM, use those.

Wow, those Armstrong ratchets do look nice.

I have no pressing need to replace my CM ratchets, I was really more curious than anything if anyone else did handles like that for future reference.
