Craftsman Tool Box Drawer Slides

I have an older Craftsman tool box that is still in good condition except for the drawer slides. My box was made before the ball bearing rollers were standard and was subject to daily heavy use for many years.
Now the lower drawer slides are worn, tough to pull the drawers out and often come out of the tracks.

Does anyone have a repair?

Can you be more specific? What's worn? There's not much to these slides, you should be able to tell by looking what it needs.

Sometimes you can get them working much better with a simple inspection, minor repairs and a good cleaning and lube.

Toughest drawer I ran across was a friend at the tire store. Back wall was bent so alignment was off, had about 100 pounds of lugnuts in it, slides were gunked up with old hardened grease and dirt plus a few small star washers wedged in there didn't help.

Slides are spot-welded to the inside of the box and are worn out. I have tried Sears for replacement to no avail.
I'll get some photos next week.
