As someone who is not a Craftsman hater (see my garage build)Hi
Neighbor is selling two of these brand new / never used Craftsman tool boxes...17" deep 26.5" wide 34" tall....$200 each..is this a good deal?

These look like the same ones my Lowe's has. I have one model cheaper (1000 series), and while it works, I wish I'd gotten the US General.

I would say that the Craftsman S1000 series is the work of the devil, but I doubt that he would want to be associated with that line of toolboxes.

It depends. Were you already planning to buy these toolboxes from Lowes? If so, then yes its good deal, they retail for $329 so $200 is more than a third off the price and you don't have to make the trip to Lowes. There is always going to be someone that will say they got a better deal with X brand or if you look around you can get Snap on for a nickel, yada yada. Just be a man for once and buy something without consulting the internet to see if its a good deal or not.
