Craftsman tool cab drawer clips

Just some info for ya. I restore a lot of Craftsman rollers and usually find a drawer clip missing or badly rusted. The clips are universal, good for almost every toolbox/roller cab made for Craftsman. Part # M3163 - $4.13

I have a little Matco box I am cleaning up and it has those same clips on it.

I wonder if the ones on ebay for about 2 bucks are any good. I need just one. Like Softail said, one or two will always come up missing. My drawers haven't even been out for a month and one has flown away.

I started with all 6, kept them together in a "special pile". 2 days later, 2 are missing. Kinda makes you wonder WTF? They're probably hiding with all those missing socks.

I needed 2 and emailed Matco and they sent me 4 on the house !

I have an old Mac box, and needed 1. Mac was happy to sell me 10, CM was too expensive.

I got a small piece of metal banding from the Parts Department at work, and in about 5 minutes fabricated what I needed

Softail: Yeah, that's where they are, with the socks! I made one from a cotter pin, and it seems to work fine for now. I put it in the bottom drawer that I won't use as much. It is obviously not spring steel, but it was free.
