"What it's worth" is soooooo subjective. IS it a neighbor/garage sale type situation? If I saw that I'd offer $40/$50. There are some good tools there but it depends on what you need. What's the seller asking?

Well, I think it could be very well worth 125. I would not pay a penny over 100 if I needed it and I would not pay a cent over 60 if I did not need it.

I do like the V or -V- series DOE and DBE wrenches there. I like those a lot so I would pay more for them. There is a nice RHFT ratchet there as well which some folks also like. There is also that neat spring loaded U joint you dont see around too much anymore.

Once again, VERRRY subjective.

90% of the V stuff doesn't resell that well if you're looking to flip any of them. They'd be worth more if you're wanting them for yourself. Also, what's in the box? We can't see. Typically a dollar a piece is a pretty fair estimate for older, used Craftsmen things and that should go down the more you buy. Depending on how badly you want it, $60-$100 is probably in the ballpark from the items I can see.

Go & get it now before someone else does.

if i was closer, i'd already have it by now.

thanks for the replies...seems price is appopriate. I'm new to the site, and have been reading alot, and seems alot of ppl talk about the old craftsman stuff(i just didn't know what the older stuff is worth), and here in canada they're hard to come accross. Was wanting to expand and upgrade my tools, not looking to resell so not worried about that.

How far are we talking?

Yes, the price is fair - even good - and the tools are quality.

Not everything pictured is Craftsman. The Saltus wrench on the right and the gimmick wrench next to it, the longer breaker bar, the screwdriver. Looks like the guy made his own short breaker. Can't tell about the ignition tools and the brake spoon bottom right.

The combination wrench is Craftsman, but later than the other stuff.

The punches & chisels are probably Craftsman. And it even appears the cross bar for the breaker is there (& they usually go missing)!

The box is kind of rough, but it's original...

...would love to know what else is in the box

I don't think anything else is in the box. There may be a chisel and there are two more sockets in the front of the tote, but otherwise it looks like junk and I'm sure the stuff on the table is what lives in the box...

I think $100 plus is not a bad price. If you can get it for less its a steal. Great tools in great condition. I am cheap but I would spend on these if I needed them.

jmac00,

I'm inclined to go along with SCscoutguy & lbgradwell. We're talking about $40-$50 worth of tools here. I would not waste a lot of time getting to this sale. Git 'er done and loaded in the back of your car.

Things didn't work out :( ....was in the midst of setting up something with the seller to meet and grab this, he was moving and wanted them gone sooner than i could meet....so he sold em..usually the way things happen for me.

Sorry you missed out. :(

Like others, I'd say $50 to $100 for that lot.

The closer to $50 I get the happier I'd be, but $75 and lower would be my goal after telling the seller what a nice house he has and what beautiful children he has.

LOL.
