The only risers I've seen that craftsman offers are part of a three piece set. It is their least expensive homeowner set usually found at kmart. It is not a full 26 inches across so it will not work with a larger/better top box. There was a recent post here where someone made their own custom riser from wood. It looked great. I was thinking about building one till I found a deal on a 2 drawer ball bearing middle box.

Getting him started early will make many fun memories for the two of you. I can remember learning about tools from my dad. I could hand him the wrenches he needed before I could could read. He'd be under a car and I would man the box. He taught me to always use the right tool for the task. I don't remember him ever having an adjustable wrench in his box. He also taught me to think and reason out problems and to never force things. Those lessons have saved me a lot of grief over the years. I have worked to teach those same lessons to my daughter. Especially DON'T FORCE THINGS.
