Hey guys,
Just joined and this site inspired me to restore an old craftsman topbox I picked up for $20 to match my kawi zx10. Now I need to find a cheap lower cabinet to repaint the same color to hold all my motorcycle tools. Kediler ve Köpekler

The original:

A little rustoleum grabber green enamel:

And a little clear:

It's amazing want 35 dollars in paint can do for the hobby mechanic on a budget. Let me know what you guys think! Theres alot of orange peel on the drawer faces, definately not worth the time to fix IMO.

Even moved a few tools into the box.

The rest of my stuff is in a griplatch lower and intermediate box.

Very nice.

What did you use for your drawer liners?

Nice Job!!!

I like the drawer liners too:thumbup:

Are the Green handled Pratt- Reed screwdrivers from McMaster carr? Do you like them? Are the blades tougher than regular Pratt-Reed screwdrivers?

Good job on the restoration. I'm a big supporter of people who take the time and effort to fix/restore something that needs it. You'll be glad you have that box when you're older I'm sure.

Youre absolutely right. Its a pretty cheap box but it does the job and now it has some character so I'll keep it around :D

Now just spray the rest of the boxes green, add the green drawer liners to the top box you just painted and lets see how it turns out. I bet badazz.!

Grabber Green? I didn't even know they had that color. :dunno:

Great job. Usually I'm not a big fan of custom jobs, but I think that looks much better than the original.

Thanks, I'm actually looking for a used cabinet to paint and put it on, brand doesnt matter if I can find a super deal.

I am fixing to redo a Snap-On that I already customized once. This time I am doing it up for my son. His favorite color is blue and I am thinking of a Chevy tri five theam for him. The first time I did this box was plumb crazy purple with a green early fifty's Chevy I think it's. A 53 or 54. Not fringe to hijack but here is a pic keep in mind when I painted it up the first time was like 6 years ago so it has a few miles on it now.

Yes they are. They are great. I have only had them a few months but they are more durable then there regular line without a doubt. I definately recommend them at there current price.

I'm not crazy about the colors but I appreciate the work and effort!

Who makes the black locking pliers and the blue handle adjustable wrenches?
