I recently purchased a Craftsman 9-31425 Microtork 1/2" drive torque wrench. It came in a plastic tray, but I would like to find a molded case for storage as I tend to leave this in the Jeep.

I'm hoping someone here can help me find a source for a case. I obtained a NOS Craftsman 9-44024 red molded case that I thought would fit, but it's too small - probably for a 3/8". This wrench is 21" long.

I have one like that I bought a few years ago. I thought it came with a hard clear plastic cover that was screwed on. If yours did, I would save it and just use that. I don't think you will find an exact case for it. I'd email or call Craftsman and ask. You can find the info on the website under customer care.

You might try calling Armstrong technical support and ask them which of their cases will fit your wrench. Then you can get the item number from them if they have a matching case. I found a few cases but you will have to ask the mfg's if your tool will fit.

I have one of those, also and was most annoyed, they just simply could not put it in a real carry case.

You could always get a $9.99 HF clicker and just use the nice carry case, it comes in. :)
