I’d pay that price before I would the regular price for sure. I’ve never used their torque wrenches but they look pretty nice and feel heavy so might be worth a try.

Saw this in store on Friday, hit up a few forums and Amazon reviews, and ultimately put it back.
Too many complaints about not clicking, or giving no indication at all that the torque setting had been reached.
Those thatdodnhave working units seemed happy COO Taiwan.
Price drop is also reflected on Amazon.

With the price of split beams dropping so much the last couple years, I think my money is better spent elsewhere.

I would like to recommend a GearWrench torque wrench. I have their 1/2” drive Micrometer torque wrench and it’s awesome. For around $110, it’s given me plenty of good use. It doesn’t have that gimmicky, goofy handle design nonsense that those Craftsman’s have.

Take a look at Husky as well.. same as GearWrench. Point is… you can do better.

Stanley dropped the ball with Craftsman.

The above is common with cheaper clickers (especially HF 3/8"). Some people try tell you that you do not know how use a clicker (i.e. how could you possibly not notice the 'click' etc, etc). Well, if can neither feel nor hear the click, then said TQ is worse than worthless. That said, I rely on quality, known to work well clickers, or beam type TQs.

It works well never had issues with not clicking. CM 1/2 drive TQ wrench was $85 at Lowes in 2020, great price at $50.
