Craftsman V Series

Just got a set of 3/4 - 1/4 and 15mm - 8mm craftsman V series (V, VV, and one E) combination wrenches, most are in great condition with only mild rust, what's my best bet for cleaning these and using them long term? Thanks for any help!

personally I prefer starting using the least aggressive methods, and work my way from there.
