Hi All
I was having a real hard time finding adopters/reducers/fittings, to connect my 9 gal Craftsman shop vac to my HF, band saw, Menards, Tool Shop belt/disc sander, and my Menards, Performax router, for dust collection. Couldn't find anything, anywhere. The ports on all these machines are either 2 1/2, or 2 1/4 in, and the original hose was 1 7/8th in. Well after days of searching, I went to the Craftsman site, and I found a replacement hose assy "# 916928", its a 2 1/2 in 7ft hose with 4 (four) fittings.
Got it yesterday, and it fits all three of my tools, and my shop vac, without having to use any other adopters. What a surprise, after all that searching. My shop vac is about 15-20 yrs old. I got it on sale for $14.99, also.
Just thought I would pass this along, in case anyone else is going bonkers trying to find fittings for that purpose. Its PN 916928.
