These videos are more marketing than anything else. I bet these plants have been making the Stanley Made in USA with global materials versions of the knives and tape measures for quite a while and they are just making a new flavour.

I bet they go to work in the plant every morning in crisp red CRAFTSMAN shirts as well when the camera's are not there I am glad to see they have jobs here in the U.S

They probably made the Made in USA ones (using USA materials) as well. Stanley isn't going to open a new factory for just Craftsman stuff if the plants they currently have can produce the product, unless demand is so high for something that what they currently have couldn't keep up, or if they are starting new products that they don't manufacture under any of their brand names.

I was at Lowes the other day and the sales guy said their new tool storage units are being made in Sedalia, MO. So far i'm not seeing any Craftsman USA hand tools anywhere. I guess it will take a while for the China stuff to run out and to be replaced with the new USA stuff.
