Here are some pictures of my first attempt of restoring a vise. I not 100% happy with the results but don't hate it either. It will be a working vise and it in good working order and smooth. I think my son will be fine with it.
In hindsight I rushed few things. the one handle on swivel, I should took more time to straighten better. Polish both handles better. Paint job definitely could been better. and I was afraid to attempt to paint the lettering different color.
for some reason I didn't take any pictures of the paint completely striped. I was proud of that part lol.
I did learn few things as I went along. I definitely enjoyed working on it. I got about 4 more vises that I want to restore.
