28x28x12 deep....Man...Even at 99 bucks, that sure doesn't seem like one is getting a whole lot of value buying those things. I must be getting old.

I hate to say this, but I wish HF would start carrying something along those lines. Craftsman seems to always be overly proud of thier stuff. $99 isn't bad though.

H/F has a 23x47x8 three door cabinet that is around 60 bucks. It's steel, has 6 shelves total and recieves pegboard hooks. The doors lock, but have no handles. Assembley is required and they have a black crinkle finish. I used two of them in an area that needed slim storage.

I had considered that $60 HF box, but I'm really going for a color theme and the Craftsman's work well. My wife even commented how nice it all worked together and also that the HF boxes seemed like a great deal compared to the cost of the Craftsman boxes. She actually thinks its all been a great deal even thought I bought 2 HF 13 drawers and 4 of these Craftsman cabinets. Guess married life isn't so bad.

Is it just me or is visiting sears' / craftsman's website just a complete misery? I swear it takes me about 10x as long to change pages there than anywhere else, and they eventually crash...

The new Sears website *****. You have to be especially careful now as they're listing 3rd party sellers and at first, it wasn't obvious to me. I nearly ordered a full set of Hansen socket trays from some random guy, thinking it was Sears.

As far as the HF cabinet, for 2/3 off of the Sears price (or, 1/3 when the Sears is on sale), yes please. Yes, it's shallower, but it's great for things that don't need a lot of depth like cans of mineral spirits / thinner, paint, WD40, PB, etc etc. Also great for consumable items like grinding wheels and cutoff discs, buffing wheels, sticks of rouge, etc
