I was in a local Sears to warranty a pair of dykes yesterday evening. They will warranty them, if they have them in stock. In my case, they did not have them in stock......I will try another Sears store. There should not be a problem once a replacement pair is found in stock.
Whoa... You can trade dykes in for less angst-ridden, newer models?
But yeah, OP, if it's Sears, and a
hand tool, it's covered. At my store, if they don't have it in stock (or, if it's a DOE wrench, or anything else only available in a set,) they can order it and either have it shipped to the store or your house. If they don't have it in stock, and the nearest other store is too far away, ask about that policy if they don't offer it up right away.
The closest Sears to me is at a mall, and I love buying garden tools there, because when I bring them back, it gives me a great excuse to walk around the mall with my new hoe...
