That's good to know if any sears by me close that I know this also
Now does anyone know with the kit if I have something go wrong with a tool in my craftsman kit will they cover that certain tool also???
They cover individual tools from sets. Just take in the one socket, ratchet, wrench, what have you that is in need of replacement and they'll take care of you. Honestly, they really have no way to know if you bought them individually or as part of a set. Part numbers are the same...If your sockets are only stamped and not dual marked or laser etched, they may make a comment about the set (most open-stock [the individual stuff hanging on the racks/walls] is laser marked if it's a socket, but wrenches and such are exactly the same) but will warranty any individual part. The only time this is NOT the case is tools that are only in sets...such as the screwdriver handles that accept regular 'bits'. But those are the exception and depending, they will probably offer you some similar/comparable tool.
And to the OP. For warranty needs, I would call them and see what they do. Sometimes they'll mail a replacement out straight up, sometimes you will need to mail it back BUT, I *think* they usually cover shipping, not sure on that though.
