I'm wondering if the Craftsman warranty will apply to this tire iron/crosshair

Well, they don't seem to make them under the Craftsman name anymore...

It started as a small crack and just grew over the past few uses. I think the original crack was from when I put my full weight on it to bust a nut loose

It's a hand tool. If it says Craftsman on it, then there should be no problem replacing it under the warranty.

if they still make anything like that, even if it is more expensive than yours, they should give you the new version. If there is nothing like it anymore , a gift card. Do you remember how much you paid for it? They may ask, if they have no listing for it in the computer.

They sell cheap Chinese off brand ones, don't let them give you one of those lol.

ya, if all they have is a downgrade, then go for the gift card- the value of which would be todays replacement price of your item, if it was still available today. Talk to the manager and agree on a price. After all, we are not talking about much money here. I did one of these exchanges the other day- no problem.
