Sorry if this topic is well worn, but I was frustrated to see that Craftsman wrenches (the traditional ones with the raised forging on the handle) are phasing to China made.
My store had a few sets of the Made in USA stuff, but most of the inventory is now China.
You can tell from a distance because the metal at the yoke of the wrench is thicker on the offshore ones. Must be the steel is weaker, so more thickness is needed. I can imagine this driving people crazy when in a tight spot where that extra 1/8" of clearance makes a difference. Also the letter stamping is noticeably worse.
