Craftsman's Bench Vise Warranty

It looks like SBD has re-instated the lifetime warranty on Craftsman-branded bench vises. I'm wondering if, like the tape measures, that only applies to ones produced after the company took over operations or if they just decided to cover all of them, like the sockets, wrenches, etc...

Anyone happen to know?

I'm shocked that CM vises were ever lifetime warrantied. They were for the most part cheaper vises made by Columbian, and later made in China, and their sintered jaws cracked very easily. I don't see any new Craftsman-branded models listed so it might be difficult to get a replacement.
