I could use the Honda crank pulley tool and the pitman arm puller.

That whole lot is not worth his asking price, however. I could see it all being worth around $150 maybe. Would take a fair bit of TLC to recondition those tools to working order. Rusty tools are useless tools.

Id give him 10% over scrap value on *SOME* of those tools, but not all of them and certainly not $400.

I swear some people have no idea of the value of anything. like this ***** although now its a make an offer deal, it was listed at $25K just a few weeks ago....guess he wasnt getting any bites

Some tool steels lose their hardening just above 300'F. and most of them lose it by 700'F.
There's no telling how hot some of those tools got. Big fires can get extremely hot.
