Reading around here I noticed lots of folks with a vise jones, got curious and killing some time i looked around just to see what vises were going for. After wasting a very limited amount time and energy. I as a non expert will say you did ok, I had seen some really rough **** for vises the are more suited as a boat anchor then a tool, enjoy.

if he knew what he had, and you knew what he had, why did you screw him out of ten dollar instead of just paying the 80, you said it was still a good deal at 80

He didn't screw him out of $10. He negotiated and saved $10. The guy asked $80 probably to be happy with $60. It's the American way. The seller didn't have to accept his offer. That's how CL works.

If the guy "knew what he had", a $200 price would have been aggressive. Around here it would be gone the same day.

I've also noticed all the love for Wiltons on the forum but am otherwise unfamiliar. Got to checking craigslist and found this one. What is something like this worth?

my score for today:

They are heavy duty and best of all, they can be linked together side by side or front-to-back for deeper shelves. $10 a set, I bought 17 sets.
