He says he doesn't know if there's any identification on it, he says he thinks it's a snap on. He says I can make an offer.

If it's worth restoring I might use it as my first restoration. Does anyone recognize this?

It looks like a KRA-61, possibly a superchest (7 drawers). 31" wide x 16" deep. Depends on condition. Those pics ain't much to go on. Based on where it is sitting and the condition of the side handle, I'd be willing to bet it is rusted out on the bottom from rain and possibly urine.

The badge location holes throw me, as usually the badge is on the upper left hand corner, not the right. :headscrat:

I'll add, it might even be a KRA-62, which was a 10? drawer heavy duty road chest. Again my comments still stand about true condition of bottom and inside. A picture of it open would really help, as you ain't giving us much to go on here.

The ad has been up for at least a month and he says a few people came to look at it, he says he's going to get a picture of inside the cover. He says inside is good. He says the drawers slide 'perfect"

zkling long time since I have been on. the side handles to me do not look like SO. Completely agree on the likelihood of the bottom being rusted out.

The side handles match what a 61 or 62 have. That said, I have so always known the handle to be painted box color. Based on the depth, I'd lean towards a 62 road box. A 61 is only 15" deep versus a 62 is 20" deep. It might be a MBC box too.

I'm pretty sure it is a KRA-62 road chest based on the badge location, I've seen both versions of the side handles, some painted, some just plated.
