The box he is selling will fit your CM box in one set of drawers and your tools in another set of drawers and still have room left.

haha nice i was just wondering why they go for so much

There are a lot of high end tool boxes, not just SO. Lista, Vidmar, Mac, Matco, CW, Ect. What sets them apart is quality, capacity not just volume, weight also, security, mobility. A good example, I work in a large factory where the mechanics have to move there tool box from one end of the plant to the other several times a day. Not one of the lesser quality tool boxes 5 years or older have their original casters, they have been replaced or a steel frame has been added with aftermarket casters. I have personally welded stress cracks in these tool boxes because they can’t handle the wear and tear. I will not criticize any one’s tool box, use what works for you.

I am in Pa and that kind of stuff is here all the time . I have scored transmissions to tools and everything in between due to someones bad luck . Wish I had room for all the cheap cars I could get .
Wish I had the extra $999 ! I am about 3-3.5 hours away . All I can say that person needs that real bad to give that away for that price . Well maybe it's not his !!!!!

Rick

yeah it's a little odd. and after exploring the site tccomputersco that the pic is hosted on, I found it is part of the picture sets from when "the allen family" was building various additions to thier house. And based on the tccomputersco site it seems they are located in Oregon. Not New Jersey.

under older projects link, then the driveway and garage link

Has anyone called 'Mark' that has his phone number on ther listing at talked to him? It's does seem fishy.

Yeah, and I wonder how much money he owes to Snap On for that box?! :(

That is what I was thinking! Snap-on gets stiffed soo much, hence the real reason for such high prices. I have seen guys do the flee with glee dozens of times, and they get away with it, more often than not.

I emailed the seemingly true owner of the "box in the picture" in Oregon, just to see if he has any insite on this. And so he is atleast aware of his pic being used for 'evil', if that is the case.

Maybe I get a response tomorrow..

I am guessing the guy doesn't have or want to post a picture of his toolbox so he googles it and uses the first image he comes up with. God only knows what kind of box he really has or if that is even the real price, may just be a teaser to get you to call him.
