What the heck is this thing?

Cramaco Die Maker model 1101 made by the Craftsmen Machinery company Boston Massachusetts.

It is pretty neat can perform at least 3 functions without changing any bits.

I have no idea what its purpose is please help.

^ the only thing I was able to figure out was that they were involved in making machines for the printing industry - newspapers mostly from what I was able to find. found nothing on that particular device.
