Crane attachment for pallet rack mezzanine?

I'm building a shop mez. from pallet rack uprights & beams. To save space (shop floor is only 300sqft) we scrapped the staircase for pull-down attic stairs. It's great at saving floor space but makes it difficult to bring large things upstairs...like my shop tables.

With how common this racking system is I was hoping there would be a crane attachment that would let me hoist things from the railing side. I can't seem to find one that "bolts in". Does anyone know of something that would work without a bunch of fabrication?

I have many higher priority projects waiting for this shop to get sorted and would like to avoid the time **** of making a crane from scratch. Ceiling mount is not an option. This is a rented space.

Pallet racking is not designed for cantilevered loads like you want to do.

Pallet racking cannot handle overhanging loads like a crane. It will tip on you.

Stand well clear, as in another county, if someone attaches a boom to pallet racking and attempts to hoist a cantilevered load.

You will need a support for the "far end" of your boom.

Bad idea, google fork lift accidents and see what happens when a fork lift runs into full pallet racking, they cannot take any side stress at all. Love the one full of water bottles that take two isles of probably 16 foot high racks out.

If I had to make a lift for pallet rack, I would make an elevator type platform inside of the racking, not cantilevered. I have never seen any commercial solutions, as others have said pallet racking is strong in a straight down load, but is not designed for any side loading.
