I know this is not garage related but there are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here. Just bought a house which has three Crane round bowl toilets with the Ecoflush B8106 pressure flush. I would like to replace the bowl section with an elongated bowl.

So here are my questions.

1. Can I get a replacement lower elongated bowl and use my current top tank with the Ecoflush unit?

2. Can I a new toilet and move the Ecoflush unit?

3. Or will have to buy a completely new toilet? I want to keep the pressure flush feature.

I know crane was bought out by American Standard so buying just the lower bowl may not be an option. I will call American Standard on Monday.

Thanks

P.S. This house has a 30x40 pole barn. I will post up some pics once I get it organized. Right now it is a mess. everything that wouldn't fit in the house was rerouted to the pole barn.

I would "flush" the old toilets and get new ones. And make sure the larger toilet bowl does not interfere with the door. In my former life and an inspector, I saw that happen.

FYI, Crane does not exist anymore. I believe they were bought out by American Standard and were taken out of business. Crane was American's biggest competitor. I would suggest you contact American Standard, they may have kept and adopted some of Crane's product design.

When I read the post title I thought you were going to tell us how those guys that operate the tower cranes manage to stay up there all day....

I can tell you that the pressurized flush tanks will have problems. Might be better of to get new toilets that are designed without the pressures assist.
