Those are v8 cranks in the picture. You might get away with some filler pieces like the brake rotors shown to make them longer if you need to. I like the look, and they shouldn't go anywhere with the weight.

all I see is stubbed toe or banged Knee, imagine the pain of coming into contact with that!
looks good though , but given my luck I'd drive my foot into it within moments

Do you bang your knee on your stool now? I can't think of one time I banged my knee on a stool and most stools have legs that are wider than the seat, unlike the crank stool. :dunno:

I want the coffee table.

I've been lusting after the one on Top Gear for years. I need to go out and make one.

Do it. I made this one. I love the stools. I think those might be next.

Are you often bare foot or wearing flip flops in the garage or something?

I saw some bar stools at a Cummins dealer that were made out of GIANT pistons and rods. Coolness factor was immense!
They must have been from a ship or something.

A lot of folks use that style of stool and table in the house as well the shop. Attached is a pic of my regular shop/welding shoes.

Find ya some straight 6 cranks if you've got long legs. Heck they might work for bar stools.
