crawl space steps

i would like to see some pictures of steps that people have to get down into the crawl space, tight space and only about 4' deep, i would like to build them myself and i hope somebody has some pics? quick and easy!!!!!!!!!!!

All we have is an access hole to crawl through. I never knew of anyone having steps into a crawlspace, although I wouldn't mind changing where we enter at and adding some steps.

Why can't you get some three or four step stringers made out of treated lumber and make some if you need steps. I wouldn't think they would be very handy though because you can't stand up to walk up the steps. You'd have to go up or down on your knees.

Like Kevin said, most crawl spaces just have hole in the floor for access.
I just get the cheapest AL step ladder and leave it in the hole.
In your case a 6 footer will get you down there with enough above the floor for safety.
When you are done just drop it down.
Maybe tie a loop of close line to it a hang it on a nail to make it easy to retrieve.
