I was going to bid on this. Last time I saw one like this it went for $68.00. Now up to $103.00. Too crazy.

No way in hell I would pay over $100.00 for that, I don’t care what color it is.
Whoever that high bidder is must be either a serious fool or a well off collector.

And to think I paid 25.00 for my black one on eBay 7+ years ago….some of the best money I ever spent in regards to tooling.

Just spent $35 on a brand new soft handle with about 13 bits, a case, and an extra long shank. $108 for a pink one with no accessories to speak of? Was the pink even popular back in the day?

Perhaps some desperate guy on the outs with the lady thinks this purse acessary will remedy the fortune he has spent on himself on ebay. If not, it's the guy who has everything but...

My wife has one of those, as well as the pliers and kitchen shears that came with it in the promo.

The one pictured seems to be missing the pink gasket for the cap. It looks like it has been replaced with an o-ring (the same thing I did).

I sent eshoendorf a link to a pink one for $39 BIN, and he passed, just a little over a month ago. Someone got it for $29 on a best offer, it may be the same one. Im now kicking myself for not just grabbing it myself, to re-sell.

SO dealer near me used to give customers a discount if their girlfriend/wife would pose for the SO dealer holding SO tools or posing on a toolbox etc...

I really think an old friend of mine has a couple pictures of herself on his computer but I never got to see..

I used to send the calendars to my dad because he's a total perv. I have some of the girlie mugs around here somewhere.

There are some aspects of political correctness that just don't seem right.

I always thought the girlie calendars, mugs, and clocks were kind of trashy. I like to buy good quality tools and don't need to be persuaded by a couple of melons. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this though. I like them just as much as the next guy, but I really don't need them hanging on the wall...

I was never persuaded by them, but it seems they went with the territory, like the RIDGID calendars.

As far as hanging them on the wall, I never did. My wife tells me I'm allowed to window shop, as long as I don't try on the merchandise.

She has a thing for Sean Connery...whatever...

True...I doubt it was sponsored by corporate.

im sure. dude was super creepy. he wasnt my normal dealer, I was just filling in at another shop and he stops there.

my current dealer has a **** modeling calendar on his truck. doesnt bother me much as they are white women and not particularly my cup of tea, but still not very professional. I understand the whole boys will be boys and look at girls etc, just thought it was odd he had it out in the open on his truck. guess no female mechanics on his route... or maybe there are, and if they dont mind..., maybe they are into that,,,, and if they are, then maybe I need to be a SO dealer...

!!!

When I was 9 years old I wanted the Snap-on ratcheting interchangeable bit screwdriver for my birthday (yah I started early!)... so my Dad got me one from his Snap-on guy...... and it was PINK!!! Obviously not what a 9 year old boy wanted!!!

So we switched it for a green one... then a few years later I decided I wanted my grandfathers black one so he traded me.....

also around that same time, in 3rd or 4th grade public school, I brought one of the Snap-on calendars to school.... that went over like a lead balloon!!!

I have no experience with them, but the fact is, for a household vac, you can't beat that old Avacado Green Kenmore!

I love my dyson! I actually sent them an emaila few years back as the advert says it loses no suction not even a sauage, I measured it and it lost less than 1psi of suction so I asked them to quantify a sausage in pressure terms.

They never got back to me.
