Compared to what? These are good deals on brand new quality Proto ratchets.
Take for example J5450XLBL it is going for ~76 on amazon/ebay/sears and is 54 from the link above.

if you don't mind 24 and 45 tooth ratchets

The 45t is a very good ratchet that can take allot of torque, and the 24t is very popular for industrial uses becaus of how much torque they can withstand. They have their purposes.

Proto wratchets are great, but this price is only average non-retale which is commonly available if you look.
