Creating a water diverter

I have a balcony on the 2nd floor. It is built into the roof. Balcony deck is above our master bedroom ceiling. Ten days ago, water started dripping down from a light fixture in the bedroom. One, that is right underneath the deck. The way it is, either house settled or, they never pitched it right but, deck low spot is on the opposite side to the drain and water puddles on the deck. Benn puddling for 8 yrs we lived in the house, finally, somehow found its way down.
It is cost prohibitive to remake the deck. I figured, I can easily build an awning or canopy to prevent water from coming into the deck. Right now, I have entire balcony tarped, dry and no leakage.
There is only one problem I have with this. I have two gutters at the balcony roof line. Except that they are not connected. And, where they are not connected, it is a corner with siding and two trim boards. Just like on the "chimney" you see above the balcony. Same design. Of course, when it rains, water runs down the entire corner and onto the deck.
I need an idea for a diverter, that will attach to the wall around that corner and redirect water onto the awning material. Problem being, trim boards stick out above the siding boards. I was thinking, making suitable one out of galvanized metal sheet, cutting the trim boards and prying them off the baseboard, getting that diverter under the siding and boards and then sealing/securing everything back in place. Basically, making a diverter with flashing that goes under the trim board/siding? So that I can run awning roofing material below that diverter and water will not drip down along the siding.
Any suggestions?

you need an experienced roofer

water runoff into a valley can have huge volume, weight, and force
I doubt your tarp will take the load

he will be able to help you with the deck floor as well

PacNW, rain 9 mths a year.
I am NOT hiring contractors. It is cost prohibitive, I already had a quote. All I need is to prevent water from trickling down the wall onto the deck, diverting it instead onto the awning. Sealing that diverter somehow around trim boards/corner.
No rocket science
