Creative Storage and Motorcycles?

Hello all, I've been on the forum for a long time but not really active. We are downsizing from a 3 car to a 2 car garage. Fortunately the entire space will be dedicated to our various motorcycles. I'd love to see your creative storage ideas to keep floor space as open as possible. Anyone suspend bikes from the ceiling ? They are all lighter race bikes. I can't spend tens of thousands on this project so DIY or creative ideas appreciated. Thank in advance

First thing that comes to mind is to put some sort of deck on a four post auto lift. For the price of some of the motorcycle or ATV type vertical storage solutions on the market, you might as well get a lot more space and capacity for only a little more expense.

Something to lift the bikes, and to store one under another. A lift with a homebuilt platform would allow that, and you should probably be able to put 4 bikes in-place of one automobile, per level, I assume. Plus, if you need it you have the lift for vehicle repairs.

Yea I'm thinking about the 4 post to store my riding mower, 4 wheeler and go karts on. I just didnt think about ceiling height for it though.
