Creative uses for "junk" wheels?

Does anyone have any pictures or creative ideas on what to do with unused/spare wheels? My sister works at a dealership and gave me a wheel that was damaged (but like new) and trying to figure out what to do with it (wife already nixed the hose reel idea for the front of the house... lol). Please share your pictures/ideas!

I use them for pulling stumps. Run the pulling cable over the rim, placed next to the stump, and it pulls up, not just over.

There are places that straighten and "refinish" wheels. Most of them buy newer style wheels to have on the shelf for quick turn around if it is a popular style.

It is a non-OEM wheel in a discontinued style, thus the reason it is "junk".

I do like the idea so far of extension cord storage.

If your garage would accommodate it, a piece of glass on top and you have a coffee table. Clock could be cool if you could cut about 3/4 of the back of the width off.

Wife nixed the hose reel for the FRONT of the house? How about the side of the garage or the back yard?

Seriously - using rims fir a hose reel is pretty much a no brainer - easy on the hoses, easy on the eyes.

Yes, for the front. I have a really nice, USA made, Eley hose real for the back. With 150' of hose on it, there is no way a wheel would work well (only have 50' of hose up front).

I had not thought about a clock... That could work...

Air hose holder in garage? Not as nice as a retractable reel, but better than nothing.

If the wheel is discontinued, there just might be someone needing one for a car in an accident. Get the exact style and sizing and look on ebay, i bet you could sell for some quick cash.

For a grinder or vise base, I would get a junk steel rim from a tire shop, the larger the better. They will usually just give them to you or maybe charge $10... Being steel you can weld a pipe to it real easy...

I would take it to the scrap yard on my next trip there. Anything that I make with a wheel I use one that is steel and easy to weld.

The She-Throne! A wrap of sheet metal around the rim to put stickers on, mobility cart seat, round head bolts for lugs and a fancy cupholder made from leftovers!

Picked this one up an odd group of three for $30 from Craigslist years ago. One was severely curbed and still in my junkpile. But two were ok-ish.

I cleaned them up as best I could, sprayed the corroded spokes with leftover rattle can primer. Mounted on $12 Harbor Freight trailer spare tire mount for holding air hose and another for long extension cords.

Before:

After:

But now I've moved by vertical 60 gal. compressor into this corner so I have to find a new location for them
