My next door neighbor is going through a major home overhaul, and during excavation, they unearthed about 6 pieces of I-beam. Each piece is about 18 inches to 2 feet in length. The verticle portion of the "I" is about 10 inches, and the top and bottom of the "I" is about 5 inches wide. They're HEAVY. They could be mine for the taking... what uses can you think of?

Build a bender for pipe, hex etc, wood splitter, or weld them together for the ultimate mailbox post...the possiblities are endless.

It's got to be one of Murphy's Laws: Any scrap metal that you don't grab today will be needed tomorrow. Don't even ask, just grab it.

Atleast grab them scrap them out if you get them for nothing. I'm not sure what I'd use them for though. Get them and leave them lay and maybe figure something out.

Grab them. If nothing else you can sell them for scrap.
