I'm not for sure about the 950 Lumen rating, but for $9.97 + $3 shipping, it looks like a good back-up vehicle or utility hand light.

There's a bunch of variations of this light out for CREE and they are all decent. Matters mostly if you want rechargeable or case design. They are all bright as hell single square LED lights with focus rings and strobe/flash feature.

Fiendfx, they take awhile to ship. Last time I ordered Snap-On gloves from them, I think it was a week before they shipped.

+1 on what Vegaman stated, the two posted here, are different. But a different one that I have is very bright, but not the claimed lumens.

Is the light shines out white bright or white with blueish tint ? Do they even give a tracking number?

Did they give you a tracking number? I checked my account and they have not even shipped it yet.

I got the one linked on Amazon last week. Listed as 1600 lumen. Hah. It might be 100-150 lumens, maybe less. Still, it's a decent light for the price. The one I got has five modes (bright/med/dim/strobe/SOS), but you turn it on you, get bright, and then you turn it off.

Just an update, 3 weeks later, I finally received the light. I must say I'm impressed of the output. Although I did buy one from ebay almost identical, but the light has a blue-ish tint vs the one on yugster it's bright white which is a plus. It's actually brighter.

Those specs are not credible.

If it's powered by a single 18650 cell, it won't last 2-4 hours while drawing 8W.
And 8W isn't quite enough power to put out 950 lumens

A typical 18650 lithium battery might have 8 watt-hours of power. (It probably will have significantly less if discharged in an hour or two, but we'll be optimistic.) If they are actually getting 2 hours, they are only drawing 4 watts or less.

Edit: The datasheet for the XM-L LEDs lists the T6 as a nominal 280 lumen emitter when run at 700mA, with a calculated value of 325% brighter when run at the limit of 3A @ 3.35V. So it might produce 950 lumens just before it burns out, but it's not going to happen in this flashlight. That said, this could still be an great light for the price.

Got mine yesterday. Its really bright I'd guess 200-300 lumens. Almost to bright on the high setting to be useful for close up mechanic work do to so much glare off the part. Overall build quality seems great so far very impressed for the money I spent. I bought it with the offered batteries and charger. Run time seems really good so far. Compares well to the lights I've spent $40 or more on. I certainly love the wide beam spread for under vehicle work. Time will tell how it holds up.

GJ-ers,
Sorry for missing out on the reply posts, I've been working crazy hrs with the GOV shutdown, etc...

-On CREE, from my experience, they make a lot of items (some are sold in big box stores), but they have also subcontracted items out in the past. I would guess any cheap priced item, would be subcontracted.

-On Lumens, with any cheap priced light, like I stated in the org post, I wouldn't believe the lumens rating. A lot of factors can vary for what we humans consider levels of brightness. Color temp, refraction, emissivity, blaa, blaa, and we turn this post into a small science project...
But it's bright...for ~$10 If you require a certain level of lumens, then I'd suggest going to a local store, or order a spec light you know is the correct lumens rating.

I like mine, and kind of wished I ordered two...and consider it a Hot Deal

-Yugster shipping, I've only ordered 2 items from them, and both didn't ship for a week. I wasn't in a rush, so no issue. If you are in a rush, you may want to try amazon prime.

Hope this helps....and if someone post the item again, I would recommend it for a nice little bright light.

Looks like a larger version was just posted on Yugster. Again, the lumens are usually not correct, and Yugster takes awhile to ship (~about a week before shipped).

Features:

Portable, easy to carry and store
Slender handle is comfortable
High quality Aluminum Alloy construction
Wide beam is ideal for lighting broad paths and deep darkness
High brightness makes it suitable for camping, travel, outdoor activities, etc.
Requires 2 x 18650 batteries (not included)
5 Modes: Hi - Mid - Lo - Strobe - SOS
Button-activated
1600 Lumens

Get this one from Amazon and don't think twice. Hell, buy 20 like I did and pass them out. They are unbelievable for the price. Single AA battery.

If you wan't a bit brighter and heaver, buy this one. It's not 1000 lumens as stated but it's crazy bright.

Both are shipped from China so expect at least a three week wait.

I wonder which one is brighter, your sunfire or the stream light stinger c4 LED flashlight. Because they are about the same price.

I really doubt any of these "junker" lights have an accurate lumen rating. I've got a Cree XML T-6 that was advertised at 1000 lumens. Runs on 1x18650, but same LED. For the 10bux I paid for it, it's well worth it, and if it was single mode instead of 5 mode, I'd buy 10 more and stash them everywhere. Insane brightness for what I paid.

cree is more a manufacturer of LED modules, a lot of makers (ultrafire, trustfire, etc) just make the housing and get the module from cree.

it's pretty amazing to me, 10 years ago, to get that much light output, I'd need a 6D maglite with a xenon bulb.....lol
