I have an older Snap-on creeper - a JC23 to be exact.
The wheels broke on it and the Snap-on guy gave me these as replacements -

The problem is the "nut". The OAL length is too long, the OD is too big, and the head is too small.
Here is a comparison of the two:

I can install the wheels on the creeper if I use the old "nut". The problem is when I gave the broken wheels back to the Snap-on dealer I had put the nuts back on the studs. The Snap-on dealer has already sent them back to Snap-on.
They are both 5/16 thread.
The original one on the left it ~3/4" long. It has the larger head that uses a torx bit.
I have looked around and found some places call these type of "nuts" furniture connector or barrel nuts.
Does anyone know where I can get these with the torx head like the originals?
