When did Crescent start making their adjustables in Spain? I snagged a decent condition 6"er marked Spain, and I'm wondering if it's worth cleaning up the nicks and burrs. The jaws faces need some filing as well.

As far as I know, Crescent's adjustable wrenches went from being U.S. made to China, and we're never made in Spain. Other companies (Channellock etc) source their adjustable wrenches from Spain though. It would be interesting to see a Crescent branded adjustable wrench from Spain though

Here are a couple of Spanish Channellock adjustables and a Thorsen Allied from Spain. Never run across a Spanish Crescent.

Ooops, my mistake. It's a Spanish Channellock.

I like the tapered in two axis' handle. Nice and comfortable to hold. Though the moveable jaw seems to have alot of play. Is it wear - or could it be someone swapped out the adjuster wheel? It looks like it's small for the hole and has alot of movement back and forth.

There is one adjustable wrench made in Spain. I have one of them but offhand i can’t remember the brand. It might be Lobster but I am not sure. I will check tomorrow.
