Is the Napa US made? With shipping these are the same price as the Crescent at Sears where I currently get free shipping and the Craftsman Club discount...

both sets are made in china

have you tried the handles on the crescents? i don't like them, other than that, they all seem the same, gear wrench, napa and crescent... probably come from the same factory

I bought the set a couple years ago at Xmas time. They can be pretty handy. I did notice at the time that the mating of the jaws can really very (poor quality control).

I have that Crescent set and they've worked very well for me in all the time I've had them. If I remember, I think I picked them up for right at 20.** or a little under out the door when I got them. Keep watch on them, they'll go pretty low on occasion.

The napa is literately the same thing as the gearwrench and crescent. They are all Apex tools.

I think I will go with a German made set instead. A lot more cash but a lot better tool...
