I have both of these, they are nice, & I'd recommend them. Metallurgy is not the best corrosion/rust resistant, so keep them lubed & u'r good to go...

Got mine for 16.14 also. Thanks a lot. I had never seen any pliers like this. Don't know if I need them but I will have them if I do

Just picked my set up from sears. My set ended up being red and black instead of the blue/gray that was pictured. They seem pretty nice for the money.

So when you close the grip, you are actually opening the pliers? I never seen these. Where would they be helpful?

$16.14 - $8.35 in free sears points= $7.79.
I also got 6% back buying Sears GCs with my AMEX BCP and 2% more going through Chase UR.

Works for me. ~$7 works for me :)

Awesome tool. Thanks for the posting. I'm very happy with them.

Bring on that turbo oil return line from a subaru!

I bought one of them singly a while back when it was something like $5 and I had some points to burn... haven't used it yet :/

Now that I've said that, I'll probably find a use for it tomorrow...

I saw these today, and they were ok for the price...
I however can't get them as I don't even get to use my tools as it is....

looks like it could be a time saver for a tech in a hard to reach spot

I saw this a couple of days ago and considered it, but don't know that I have ever had a need for a pair. Until today that is! Replacing the #6 glow plug on a Mercedes 3.0 Diesel (in my Grand Cherokee-I'm too frugal for European cars) is at the back of the motor and not easy to get to.

same here

The red/black is the new color scheme that most of the Crescent stuff is going to. The older silver/blue would stain too bad and look like *** in short order even with a wipe down.

Oh I'm not complaining, I think these may be the first or one of the few Cresent brand tools that I have. I didn't "need" them but could see where they would be useful so I grabbed them.
