Anybody else tried these?

I was at Sam's club and saw the sets. SAE only, but 3/8" to 3/4" for under $15! Just had to try them out. Seem to be OK, about on par with the others I've tried. Made in Taiwan, qood chrome, fairly smooth action, and cheap!

There is only couple of factories that make ratchet wrenches. And most of them are in taiwan. So it comes down to weather they are fine tooth or corse. The cheaper ones are corse. The ones like lowes kolbalt are fine tooth.

I have a set from Sam's Club marked Channellock. Same as any other Gearwrench style wrenches. Very smooth action.

Yep. I've had a couple sets in the shop for quite awhile now. Fine wrenches for the money. Not sure how they'd stand up to heavy, constant use, but for the occasional-use diy'er, they should be fine.

Ive had a set for 5+ yrs of shadetreeing. The only down side is the Frankenstein (neck bolt) selector can get bumped and reverse direction.

had a few of my techs using the same sizes over and over in the field (could not resist the price) some did break but after a good year or 2 of constant abuse. have several still in the personal box, great tool for the money

Can't beat them at that price, I like mine. Yes, you can bump the reverse tab, but they are reversing, which is sweet.

i use the offset reversibles at work. they work quite well and i like the feel of them. i have a set of flex standard ones at home i just got last week. these ones the edges are sharper and not as comfy in the hand, but i think in time will wear to be ok.

The Crescent ratcheting wrenches I have aren't much like Gearwrench in terms of construction and feel. The brand new stuff maybe, but if it's been sitting on the shelf at True Value for five years, not so. The older ones have a lot of flex in the open end. I wouldn't buy them again based on that, but the ones I have are a mid-length between stubby and regular, which could be seen as a benefit or detriment.
