I meant I had searched the manufacturer lists on the GJ sticky; I would have prefered to share within the organization that Lugz laid out.
I appreciate that approach, Arne. Unfortunately, Crescent suffers from two issues. Like Mossberg, and a few other mfgrs I won't bore everyone with, there actually wasn't a single, primary, naturally massive thread I could link to in the same way I could with many other OEM's. Secondly, and this is related to the first, it sort of gets caught up in the many (and I mean MANY) threads we have on the topic of adjustable wrenches. If you look, you'll see that Diamond isn't included in the Index for the same reason. Neither is Utica, for the same reason, and a few others (one of them being that we also don't have a single, main thread for Pliers, as a type of tool, we have many - and I would argue too many). It's ironic, since Crescent is one of the early majors and was kleenexed into the street name for the wrench it invented. But, then again, its production was pretty much limited to adjustables and pliers, so really doesn't get the attention later more diverse makers get.
Having said all that, Crescent, Diamond, Utica, Mossberg and several other things (adds, fixes, etc) are on my list for version 2.0 of the Sticky Index in 2021.
The patented 'Checkerdot' pattern is a good tell for Crescent contract production. And they made A LOT of pliers for others (e.g., Bonney).
