I found an old Cresent wrench (cresent brand) it has the main part and the "jaw" but it's missing the wheel to adjust it and the pin that holds it in. Can these be purchased? Nice wrench, would hate for it to go in the scrap bin.

Forty years ago, every corner hardware had a Crescent-supplied box with every jaw, screw and pin to repair their adjustable wrenches.

Since Crescent has changed hands many times, I've not been able to confirm parts are still available. A while back, I spent at least an hour searching to no avail. Anyone seen any lately? I've got two I'd like to rescue.

thnx, jack vines

i called crescent a while back. parts are available for many of there older wrenches but not all. sadly the daimond brand that they bought is no longer supported. i would try an older auto parts store or hardware store. i know of a couple that have some odds and ends laying around. you may get lucky. no guarantee that the parts you order may work so i think that would be my first choice.
