Finally got around to complete my radiant in floor set-up after countless hours of researching various set-up on the site. New to this radiant stuff and hoping I did everything right.

Building is 40x64x14
R-30 in ceiling with 6 inches of open cell on walls
2" XPS under 6" concrete perimeter insulated as well
8- 1/2" -300ft. runs 12" spacing, 6" around perimeter with adjustable reising manifold.
18000BTU Hardy outdoor wood burner with 45% glycol
3 insulated 12x12 doors
OO9 circulator pump at boiler and 009 circulator at manifold
1GPM through each circuit
3/4 feeds from boiler
Honeywell Mixing valve @113* Return water 83*
Radiant thermostat WITHOUT floor probe.

Hows it looking?? Did I overlook anything??

Yes 180000 BTUs. Do I need to increase feed lines from 3/4?? I'm getting correct flow n GPM. Boiler holds 130 gallons. Only using boiler for garage. 1.25 seems big

By the numbers you posted, it sounds like its running spot on.

My set up is very similiar, but in a 30 x 40. My boiler is 250,000 BTU with 1" lines. Have been heating the house and the shop with no problem.

Holy dobbleganger building. I'm picking up my wood master 3300 woodburner today. Its 75k btu on 12 hr burn.. I have 1" feed lines only traveling 15' though.. and I spray foamed them into my ditch. I have 1.5" closed cell under my slab and 2.5" closed cell on the walls / ceiling. I'm running my setup now with just a water heater and its keeping the building around 60 degs when its 30+ outside.

if you build your system off a central loop and leg the two hot water sources in with aquastat controlled pumps you can use your wood boiler to save money, but still be able to leave and let the water heater pick up the slack without the slab cooling and the pipes bursting
